Hello, friends! My name is Erin Reynolds and I am from the Sunshine State. I have an older brother, Jarrod, my wonderful parents, Nancy and Mark, and my three Weimaraners, Daisy, Rascal, and Spyder. Before I came to the Academy, I enjoyed riding ATVs and dirt bikes with my dad, who went to college on a bull-riding scholarship. Now that my parents have an empty nest back home, they spend a lot of their well-deserved free time riding around on their motorcycles, and they’ve even ridden all the way up from Florida to visit me.
I miss my family back home (especially the lower the temperature gets in New London) but I always remind myself that I am right where I am supposed to be. Being a cadet at the Coast Guard Academy certainly has its ups and downs but I wouldn’t trade the experience for the world because I get to do all sorts of things that I never would have imagined possible before I even graduate college. Feel free to email me at Erin.L.Reynolds@uscga.edu if you have any questions about anything. I love to talk, and I would be happy to answer!
