U.S. Coast Guard Academy
LT Rogers was commissioned in the U.S. Coast Guard after graduating from the Coast Guard Academy in 2008 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering. Her first assignment was as an Engineering Officer in Training on board CGC Midgett (WHEC-726) in Seattle, Washington from June 2008 to June 2010. She then attended Northeastern University, where she graduated in May 2012 with a Master’s Degree in Electrical Engineering. Following her graduate studies, LT Rogers was assigned to Command, Control and Communications Engineering Center (C3CEN) where she provided engineering support and development for CG contingency communications from June 2012 to May 2015.
In the summer of 2015, LT Rogers returned to the Coast Guard Academy as an instructor in Electrical Engineering.
