
Research and Scholarship
- CASP Fellow, Dr. Lawson Brigham, has also continued to teach and inspire others about shipping issues in the Arctic. In addition to his contribution to the Coast Guard Arctic Proceedings edition, Dr. Brigham published two articles with the US Naval Institute Proceedings in January and May of this year, as well as a new book chapter. The USNI Proceedings articles are entitled, “Global Offshore Wind Energy: Emerging Ocean Use” and “The Suez Canal and Global Trade Routes”.
- Dr. Barry Zellen, the Class of ’65 Arctic Scholar continues to inspire cadets in the classroom and to pursue thought-provoking research for the Coast Guard.
