LCDR Holveck reported to the U.S. Coast Guard Academy in August 2019. Her current position is in the Management Department as a faculty member and Assistant Department Head. She is a Senior Certified Professional with the Society of Human Resource Management and holds a Master of Arts in Industrial and Organizational Psychology from the University of New Haven. LCDR Holveck serves on the Faculty Senate and chairs the AACSB Leadership Subcommittee for the department.

Originally from Sturbridge, MA, LCDR Holveck entered the Coast Guard in July 1997 at the U.S. Coast Guard Academy (USCGA). After graduation with a Bachelor of Science in Operations Research, she served as a Deck Watch Officer for the U.S. Coast Guard Cutter SPENCER (WMEC-905), Boston, MA from 2001-2003. From there she was selected to attend Naval Flight Training in Pensacola, FL from 2003-2005 where she was winged as a Naval rotary wing aviator.

LCDR Holveck was assigned to Air Station Miami from 2005 – 2008 where she flew the Dolphin Helicopter, MH65 and deployed to the Windward Pass. From 2008 to 2012, LCDR Holveck was assigned to Air Station Atlantic City. There she additionally qualified as a Rotary Wing Air Intercept Aircraft Commander. During this tour, she deployed frequently to the National Capitol Region to fulfill operations for NORTHCOM. Following her graduate program LCDR Holveck served as the Alfa Company Officer at USCGA from 2013 to 2015 where she oversaw the development of 125 cadets. She then transitioned to the position of Regimental Officer, serving as the senior company officer and team lead for 16 company officers and company chiefs, while also mentoring the cadet Regimental Staff of eight to twelve cadets. From 2017 to 2019, LCDR Holveck served as the Midgrade Officer and Civilian Transition Course 2 School Chief at the Leadership Development Center. She also helped deliver leadership courses such as the Midgrade Officer and Civilian Transition Course 1, Senior Leadership Principles and Skills, and the Team Leader and Facilitator courses.

LCDR Holveck reside in Pawcatuck, CT with her husband, LCDR Crist Holveck (ret.), their two youngest, Kathryn and Liberty. Their oldest, Meagan, lives in upstate NY. LCDR Holveck enjoys outdoor activities, being a group fitness instructor and leading a Girl Scout troop.
