Our Campus Programs team is excited to help prospective students and their families experience CGA firsthand, learn more about cadet life, and better understand the opportunities available through a Coast Guard education and career.

Originally from South Florida, I graduated from the United States Coast Guard Academy in 2013 with a B.S. in Management. Some of my most memorable experiences as a cadet came through summer training, including deployments aboard a 210-foot Coast Guard cutter in the Caribbean, sailing aboard the 295-foot USCGC EAGLE, and serving aboard USCGC SYCAMORE, a 225-foot buoy tender based in Cordova, Alaska. Those experiences helped bring the Academy experience to life and provided an early look at the missions, people, and opportunities that make Coast Guard service unique.

Following graduation, I served aboard USCGC HARRIET LANE in Portsmouth, Virginia, as an Underway Deck Watch Officer, Communications Officer, and Assistant Navigator. I later served at Coast Guard Sector Long Island Sound in New Haven, Connecticut, as a Command Duty Officer and Chief of Emergency Management & Readiness, supporting search and rescue, law enforcement, marine safety, environmental response, emergency management, and interagency operations throughout the region.

Over the years, I have had the opportunity to support Coast Guard Academy Admissions in a variety of roles. Today, I serve as the Campus Programs Manager and AIM Program Manager, helping lead opportunities for prospective students to experience the Academy firsthand and better understand the academic, military, athletic, and leadership aspects of cadet life. I also support our international applicants and cadets as they navigate the admissions process and transition to the Academy.

Across all of these efforts, our goal is to provide prospective students and families with an authentic look at CGA through campus visits, Admissions briefs, tours, overnight programs, and interactions with cadets, faculty, coaches, and staff. We want every visitor to leave campus with a clearer understanding of the Academy, the Coast Guard mission, and whether this unique path of service and leadership is the right fit for them.
