I became an Academy Admissions Partner because of the tremendous impact the Coast Guard Academy had on me. CGA provided me with a framework that shaped my professional career. While at the Academy, I sailed across the Atlantic Ocean on the tall ship EAGLE, and spent summers in Charleston, South Carolina and Honolulu, Hawaii. As a Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering major, I visited shipyards and designed and raced vessels in the state-of-the-art marine hydro lab at CGA. Athletically, I was a four-year member of the swim team and competed at the NCAA level. All these experiences were made better with the incredible friends I met along the way. I joined the Admissions Partner team to assist in the recruitment and retention of prospective cadets. I want to share the incredible professional, academic, and athletic opportunities students will have if they choose to attend CGA.
