I am grateful for the many opportunities and experiences I have had as a result of attending the United States Coast Guard Academy. I chose to be an Academy Partner to help high school students see the opportunities and benefits that attending the Academy and serving in the Coast Guard can have for them.

I’m an Admissions Partner because I’ve been fortunate enough to have had a very fulfilling Coast Guard career and want to share those Academy and operational experiences with others.  If I can be just that one influence, to tip the scales of a young teenager’s decision in the direction of selfless service, then I consider that a huge win.  But to get there, that young man or woman needs to be able to make their own educated decision, and that’s what I hope to help guide.
