Erin Lambie, M.A., M.S.
Ms. Erin Lambie reported to the Coast Guard Academy in July of 2023 as the first civilian Emergency Crisis Leadership Program Coordinator. Previously Ms. Lambie served as the Emergency Management Specialist at USCG Northeast District in Boston, MA, and as a Port Security Specialist at Sector Southeastern New England. Active duty assignments include the Port Security Division and Investigating Officer at Sector Honolulu, and Deck Watch Officer and Combat Information Control Officer on USCGC NORTHLAND.
Over the course of her career Ms. Lambie has responded to multiple types of national level emergency management incidents. These include Deepwater Horizon, the 2010 Haiti Earthquake, Hurricanes Ike, Sandy, Irma, and Maria, the DM-932 Oil Spill in New Orleans, LA, and the Gold King Mine Incident in Colorado. Ms. Lambie is a Type 1 Planning Section Chief and a Type 1 Marine Transportation System Recovery Unit Leaders. She holds qualifications as Situation, Resource, Demobilization, and Documentation Unit Leaders. As a FEMA certified Master Exercise Practitioner she is considered a subject matter expert on the Coast Guard’s exercise and evaluation program.
