On a real-world education
The School of Leadership and Management has equipped me with valuable skills that I am eager to apply in the fleet. I’ve gained practical knowledge through the various courses I have been enrolled in, such as team dynamics, budgeting, and effective communication, all of which are essential for successful management. The emphasis on real-world applications has prepared me to tackle challenges we will face upon graduation, where we will be responsible for managing personnel, overseeing budgets, coordinating leave schedules, and more.
On an outstanding faculty
One of the standout aspects of the program is the faculty. They are approachable, always welcoming us into their offices to receive extra help, career advice, or personal challenges. Their open-door policy fosters a supportive learning environment that encourages us to seek guidance whenever needed. Beyond academics, they actively participate in our lives by attending sporting events and other extracurricular activities, showing genuine interest in our overall development.
On setting us up for the future
Being a management major has provided me with a solid foundation for my career, ensuring I have the necessary skills to thrive in demanding environments. As we transition from academic settings to the realities of fleet management, I am grateful for the education and guidance that has prepared me to manage various responsibilities.
