Nicholas Mintz

Killeen, TXP – Class of 2025 Major: Management

1/c Nicholas Friedrich MintzOn a foundation of leadership

The management major enforces a foundation of leadership, critical thinking, and decision-making. This focus on leadership has made me confident that I will be well equipped to guide teams, manage resources, and inspire others inside and outside the Coast Guard.

On expanding the opportunities as a cadet…

Through hands-on experiences like internships, case studies, and capstone projects, cadets apply classroom knowledge to real-world scenarios, preparing them for operational challenges inside and outside of the Coast Guard. With access to a network of Coast Guard professionals and industry leaders, cadets gain exposure to real-world challenges and career opportunities that broaden their careers.

On the faculty…

I truly believe the best thing about management is the management faculty. They bring a wealth of knowledge and experience from both military and civilian sectors. Additionally, the faculty members are deeply committed to cadet success, offering mentorship, and guidance specific to each cadet. Their diverse expertise across all areas of management ensures all cadets receive a top-tier education.
